Sasquatch was formed in Los Angeles in the year 2001 by Philadelphia transplant Keith Gibbs and Detroit native's Rick Ferrante & Clayton Charles.  Sharing the stage with some of LA rock's finest, Fireball Ministry, Nebula and Unida has helped the band become a local favorite and developed a name that is synonymous with quality kick ass rock.  Drawing on influences from 70' metal, rock and psychedellia their songwriting approach is simple and mainly relies on the theories of feel and technique,  a sorely missed aspect of most modern day rock amalgamations. In 2005 look for the group to follow up their highly acclaimed Small Stone debut with a even stronger sophomore full length recording and a 2nd straight appearance at the SXSW music conference.

From the Small Stone Records web site: Sasquatch has left the building... Yep, after a few busy months and a few odd delays, the self titled debut cd from the Sasquatch band has finally left for the manufacturing plant. We should have this monster back in our hands by mid to late June. So, what does Sasquatch sound like you ask? Well, rawk with balls as big as church bells is our answer to you damn it! However, you do not have to take our word for it... here is what Brad Tolinski from Guitar World Magazine had to say about the band: "A thunderous and stomping debut by a band that will no doubt play a starring role in the new wave of heavy metal"... amen!
